Advise on S2 price please...

Hi all

I'm considering putting the S2 up for sale . What do recon I should be advertising it for as prices on AutoTrader are all over the place (cheapest '94 is £6k - most expensive is £12k!!!).

'94(M) ABY Coupe.
Emerald green metallic.
87000mls
FASH to 59000mls (when I bought it 3.5 years ago) - specialist maintained since.
Black leather.
Wood trim.
Driver airbag.
Glass sunroof.
Air con.

Modifications...
Homefry & boost gauge (installed last month).
RS2 Grill.
Clear side repeaters.
Alpine CD head unit.
JBL Component front speakers.
Cat 1 alarm/immob + tracker.

I was thinking maybe £8k. Too high, too low? Opinions please.

Perfect Price, probably get away with 8.5k you car is a very low miler and it has home fries / cat 1 alarm, full leather and air bag even 9k-9.5k would be pushing it in my book and i'm stingy when comes to the S2!

best bet is to advertise a lil higher than u want, ppl will always get u down but u cant get them to come up!

Becuase of the mileage, I'd say start at £8,995 for 2 - 3 weeks, then adjust if need be.

If I do sell it I need to be selling at a price where it'll sell straight away. There's another car I'm fancying, but it'll not be for sale for very long, so I'll need to sell mine quickly.

450bhp Quattro (Dialnyx competition engine cost around £8k to build )

Can't afford the cost of upgrading mine to 450bhp.

Unfortunatley it wasn't very practical, and it's now been sold. However, I WILL be selling the S2 in the next month or so regardless, and hence, I'm still on the lookout for a decent track car, and I think I'm going to get a bike also!!
