It doesn't convert them to LHD it only blocks out part of the light output so you can drive in a lhd country.

A lhd unit will put out more light than an rhd with the lever switched

Should be able too, a lot of work though why not buy lhd from the off?

Anyhow this is a for sale thread don't want to clutter it with a lhd conversion conversation

Are they the same fixings and electric plug as a 3B coupe.

There is a mod to do I think but I'm not 100% sure. Search the forum for an answer

Yes, they are the same connections on a 3B, you just need to change a wire location in a multiplug connector behind the steering wheel so that your dipped beams stay lit when you go to full beam. You may need some headlight trims from a later car, majority of 3B's have a single piece that goes across the full width of the car which if you want to keep you will have to chop off the mounting lug (on the left of the first pic in this thread).
