S2 Avant for sale

Unfortunately my S2 Avant has to go to make room for an RS2 . I’m in two minds about this as the S2 is going really well at the moment & I've spent a lot of money & time on it in the 2 years or so that I've owned it. The Porsche brakes have only been on there about 6 weeks & I only got the Avus alloy wheels refurbished about a month ago.

It’s a ‘95/N reg Avant so is one of the last S2s built. It’s in excellent condition despite the high(ish) mileage with a full service history (main dealer & specialist) & lots of bills.

It feels really quick since the latest homefries were fitted at Billing in June & it’s holding 1.4 Bar boost. Anyway you can see more details here.

I'm looking for around £6.5k although I’m open to sensible offers.

Peter thats well cheap at 6.5K!!!! would have thought you'd get 7.5-8 for it no probs with all those extra's.

No match for me & the Knight Rado.

But back to the point - Peters S2 is a very nice car which has been very well cared for over the years.... and flies now!

Umm sounds all so familiar too me! I have recently just slld my 95 ABY Avant in the same colour. Mine had £KKKs of recipts and was in very good condtion too. 116000 miles

Ok, it had almost stock brakes bar uprated pads and discs but sizes were stock and the alloys were refurbish 12 months ago but it was also CAT D in FEB 2000 wiered??

Anyhow after more than my fair share of time wasters and A**holes i was forced to take 5k YES only 5K I know I know not what i was hoping for but just been messed arround by sooo many people the Mrs was leaning on me pretty bad.

They ALL played the CAT D card to drop the price but wernt too botherd about it or they wouldnt be bidding would they?

Oh it had RS2 Turbo on and was mapped by Paul N had dynos proving peak Power @ 337 BHP and 475NM tourqe. CAT 1 alarm also. All cambelt and auxillary belts etc thermostat and water pump etc etc the works really, was recently done. Full working and serviced for sale aircon!

ive just sold my hippo s4 for £2500
oh it hurts when i say that there was nothing wrong with it i had even just put a years mot on it
im still sueing warwickshire council for the pothole damage to my car and 18" alloys but i guess it will be another 6 months before they end up saying piss off!
ive bought a jap crap 200sx with 270bhp and am doing a bit of drifting at the moment but boy do i miss the hippo its 10 times the car the 200 is
i think im going to get another s4 but a later one like a 1.8T or maybe just maybe a bit later at the right price ill get an RS4.
i bought the s4 back twice before i finaly let it go, and ive never done that before so there must still be a sparkle or 3 left in audi's for me a.

I used to have a 98 200sx cost me £14,500 at 18 months old with 13,000 miles on it. When I sold it 2 and a bit years later with only 27,000 miles on it I only got £7100!

There is no way the S2 will depreciate that much and yeah it's 10 times the car the Nissan was. Do miss the air con though - my S2 hasn't got it.
