    ABY ECU with 303bhp Chip

Here I have for sale an ABY ECU with a 303bhp chip. The chipset alone cost £300. This is as good if not better than a homefries and not only will it transform the perfomance of your car, it improves MPG massively, 28mpg can be achieved quite easily with normal driving. The ECU has been properly socketed to accept the chips. looking for £400

303 bhp on a stock K24 turbo, and what were the other mods on the car and dyno proof?

This is your 2nd post on the forum stating your chipset is better than one of the founders and admins of the forum the homefry by s2central.net, you better have proof to back up the claim!

the chip is by hoffer76 - who knows his stuff. The chip is called 303 but that is not to say by plugging this ECU into any S2 it would make exactly 303bhp as every car is different. All I can say is that by using this chipset on my standard S2 it transformed the perfomance.

I didn't actually say "plug this into any standard s2 and hey presto 303bhp" that is the capability of the chip. It will make a different amount of BHP depending on the car, as the condition of the engine and turbo will always vary.

More like stage 1+ as that is pretty much the physical limit for injectors and turbo on a healthy S2. I think there was an MTM chip that played up here too. Whether every car will hit claimed power is another matter - same for all chips really but I would say its right on the limit so everything would need to be really sweet on the car.

I would expect an RS2 airbox and intercooler to be in use as well cos that K24 is going to blow some hot air at 300bhp.

I would like to try and hit that too versus 280bhp on homefries but I don't have access to fuel better than 97 for one thing. I suspect it would be the end of my already tired turbo though.

wow, it really is a wonder how you've amounted EIGHTEEN THOUSAND posts when you come out with such useless contributions.

if your not interested in buying it, don't comment.

@ S2 Central thanks for the comment, that sounds right to me

I can tell you exactly what this chip is.
This is the chip made by SMS for their Revo 303PS setup... (read up on it).
That car used a hybrid turbo (K26), not the K24 7000. It works okay-ish on the stock turbo, but if you run it with a 3 bar MAP sensor, you will max out your injectors.

The fuelling is very close to stock, with extra fuel added at top end. Timing is advanced across the range. Boost control is not made for this turbo, but with a 250kpa MAP sensor it should work okay (about 1.4 bar peak and tapers off to redline).
You most certainly will not get anywere close to 303hp on it with stock turbo though. The reason SMS did, is because they used a slightly bigger turbo, which was more efficient at top.

I was told it was a slightly modified MTM chip.

To anyone looking at buying this, as usual on forum websites, people always have to make their contribution to complicate things - This is a very good chip and like it says in the description, it will transform the perfomance and make the fuel economy much better too

I am 99% sure it is not.
People are making their contribution to prevent other forum members from getting swindled by bogus claims.
This chip will run fine on stock turbo, but it will not make anywhere near 303 bhp.

So SMS set their chips up to max stock injectors out I guess, but needing the slightly larger turbo to reliably hit good boost and air temps for ~300bhp at the redline. That makes more sense to me. Is the SMS chip setup for 2.5bar or 3bar MAP - I presume 2.5 ?

If fuelling on SMS chip is close to stock then its not going to be better MPG than stock. Maybe someone has tweaked it for better fuelling in cruise mode / part throttle enrichment. Mmm - who knows really what has been done on this chip. Some dyno plots would be nice I suppose.

2.5... on 3 it maxes out injectors. Tried on my own car and logged AFR and injector duration. Duty cycle goes to 100% basically and it goes lean above 5000 rpm, because it tries to hold 1.4 bar to redline.

The fuelling is the same, but the MPG is better because of better tuned ignition advance. So for the same fuel burned, more power is extracted and thus you need to burn less fuel.
