so to understand this better, these monoblocks are the same sort of size of the rs2 'big reds' as far as pad use, BUT they can fit to work better with a 345x34 disc rather than the usual 322x32. ? correct?

which are the porsche discs then and when do you buy them from? are they readily available?

I have been itching to get a brake upgrade on the rs2, but with these 18inch wheels i have, and the fact that even the big reds are already quite close to the wheel, i definitelly need to have them test fitted first before commiting to buying anything...

      they look very nice

Pads are bigger than big reds, these are GT3 calipers 345x34 is for 5x112 only.

In 5x130 322x32 or 330x34 are the options for the RS2, there is a 350x34 but the discs cost a fortune.

                  Ahem...

Can I ask what the part number with the Audi dealer or GSF is for the A8/S8 discs 345 / 34 mm?

And the approximate cost from GSF ?

                  My car is S2 Avant - 5 x 112 pcd.

                  Thanks.

checked out the above GSF part number and the part number on the relevant blue ATE box is "4D0 615 301 B" and "4D0 615 301 E".

The discs inside measure 345mm, but are only 30mm thick instead of 34mm?

Are these 30mm ones correct or should they be 34mm thick?

Is is that 30mm is for an A8

                      and

                      34mm for an S8 ?

Other ATE numbers on the box are "430177"

                      and

                      "24.0130-0177.1"

                      Dimensions on the box " 345 x 30,0 x 28,0 V L"

                      Grateful to receive any advices.

                      Thanks.

Maybe they are dealer only disc's?

I was only going by what was posted in the thread earlier... I will have a look at ETKA.

If I would run 18" rims I would seriously consider your offering. Looks good mate, and 345mm with GT3 calipers is more than enough for track racing or normal road usage.

                            Thanks Le S2 Audi,

Would be keen to have your advices.

Bram, agreed they would be used with S8s, tbh, 304mm small reds are more than eonough, just want to fill the mk 1 S8s from an aesthetic point of view, and also for Pub bragging rights.

                            Kind regards.
