Audi Centenary External Hard Drive

The listersgroup eBay store has a load of the 250gb Audi Centenary External Hard Drives for sale. It states 10 on eBay but the actual stock is nearer 100.

They are selling them for £70 with the AMI lead or £55 for the drive on it's own. I've had a chat with the guy who runs the store and he will sell the drive on it's own for £50 if you message him through eBay mentioning you are from the S2Forum. Of course if you want the AMI lead too he will sort something out.

I just bought a new 1TB external hard drive for £52 delivered (including leads). That is one expensive Audi sticker.

Not familiar with the AMI concept but can this drive plug in to the cars concert system or similar?

AMI - Audi Music Interface.

The drive itself is just like any other external harddrive. The AMI system can be fitted to new Audis (generation III audio systems) and allows ipod/mp3/usb sources to be used depending on the adaptor cable.
