which Gulf oil would you propose for an S2 over the winter period? High miles, lightly modified and needs to be thick enough to cope with high engine temps and hot idle. Currently mine has the 10/60 Edge in it which i know is too thick for this time of year....

you as me castrol edge 10W60... too thick for our cars in any season , but seems to work well

I'd go for either the Gulf 5w-40 or 10w-40 if you want Gulf, but a 10w-50 could be a better choice for year round use.
