Not seen the one on ebay in person. Having seen a fair few S2s you really can't tell anyhting until you get to see the car close up.
Steering wheel is right though. They put these on for a short perod between the non-airbag three spoke (like mine) and the later air bag three spoke (RS2 stylee)
With mine the general condition, the history and the manner of the guy who was selling it was what clinched the deal. Oh that and the 48,000 miles on the clock

That steering wheel (aka grandad wheel) was fitted to a few S2s - like mine - a late 1996. I hated it - Had to get a RS2 wheel - just so the car felt right.S2,RS2,S4 WB,RS4,S4 B8,RS6 C5,RS6 C6,R8Comment
