This must be THE most ineffective way to get rid of car. Some better alternatives would be -

1. Put the car up for sale as a project or donor vehicle complete. Try and sell the whole car in one go. A rare car will get a fair price in this way on am auction site.

2. If you really must break it yourself then get stuck in with the disassembly and put the bigger items on sale here with photos and prices - or a link to an auction site where you might get more hits and/or a better price.
