    QM 5.5" 3-disc carbon-V + CrMo flywheel for I5 + 01E

For sale mentioned QuarterMaster carbon-carbon clutch and CrMo flywheel with 15 pin trigger at the back.

Can be modified to original trigger system for extra cost.

Clutch has a couple miles on it, wear is appr. 0,2mm.

Flywheel is tailored for this particular clutch unit, to have optimal clamp load.

Hub is made for 23 spline audi 01e Shaft.

I'll drop in 4 shim plates. With these You can shim the clutch for appr. 2 millimeters and still keep optimal clamp load.

Clutch only retails +4000 usd, so this is over 5000 eur package.

    Price 2700 eur

I was told the clutch has a sprint race on it on 550ish HP corvette. Like said, the discs have barely noticeable wear.

I spoke to QM sales staff in ASI, Birmingham, and they said a carbon clutch has far longer lifespan than sintered or cerametallic ones, especially since You can shim it again and again.

You can shim it tighter until everything turns to dust. Being a triple plate this pack has like 25mm of friction material until everything is paper thin.

With this kind of clutch You can combine stocklike pedal feel, but unbelievably easy gear engagement. And of course throttle response is phenomenal.

I have a friend with +800hp skyline, and he has carbon-metal clutch on his car. After 40 000km he has wear of less than a millimeter total in his clutch.

Nevertheless, I would stay easy on slipping this on road, as discs+floater pack costs appr. 2500 usd for this one. Turns it to equivalent of brand new, though.
