I wonder how much they want for the box, as the auction is only for the diff isnt it?

            Who's the manufacturer James ? X trac ?

I can't imagine that would be any good on a turbo motor and you most certainly would not want to get it repaired if you did break it !

I got some photo's in my email of the box i almost had wood when i read audi quattro sequential gear box ÂŁ4000 i was on it........

They really do not know alot about it, came as a spares package.

But yes its useless for a turbo'd monster it looks like it would not fit the front shafts either.

Tony at TCS would know more, or my guy if I ever get hold of him ! he ran Steve Hirsts A4 for a while, proper bit of kit that thing was !

As you say though, no good at all for your needs, I think they rated my mates Hewland at about 400lbft and that was over 30k new, just seems a shame that such a expensive gearbox is good for one thing only !

Designed to have the engine dropped and a very low ride height. Look how high the output shafts are for the box!

As rightly pointed out by G60, typical touring car stuff for very low engine crank height ...this one is definitely for the dry-sump crowd!
