              Rear end refresh

Just finished dropping the rear subframe on my 1995 S2 this morning. Failed the MOT last week, been using it for a daily runner for 12 months n didn't realise how bad it was. Took a few nights work but now it's out i'm going to give it a full overhaul.

So you'll be needing a rear bush!?

There's several people done that job on here recently. Mines out and refurbed but yet to go back in...ditto with the rest of the car

I'm trying to source another rear subframe at the moment, mine has four holes in and it looks pretty screwed. Once i get my hands on one yes, i'll definately be interested in the rear diff bush.

A felllow forum member is sending me some pics of his subframe, it's off a 1992 2.8CQ. I've been told it's the same subframe. Do you know if this is correct?

                  Cheers

                  Charl

when you say 'holes', how big are you talking?? Maybe put a pic up if you can?

Looking at part numbers i believe they are the same as a 92 2.8CQ but don't take my word for it...

Thanks for the contact, i'll be giving them a bell first thing Monday morning. See what you think to the pics. They told me at the garage it was coroded, week and not repairable. At first glance i thought i'd be able to get it blasted and painted. When i saw the holes i wasn't so sure.

******! not letting me post any pics. I'll try again tomorrow
