i will sell the whole thing it has flared arch shell which needs spraying 8k for the lot

engine has just been rebuilt by pete at white cottage quttros
aron rods new rings rs2 shells 034 metal head gasket not sure what engine is worth some ideas will be great

full wagner set up new reverse inlet get some interest at mo pm me or call and i will get pics up of bits and prices

new lifters there is proberbly more will post some pics below
the engine has been full stripped and anything that need replacing has been done
b4 the had covered 90k ish
full arp main and head bolts

So its a 7A engine, not an ABY as stated in original post? That makes a difference I guess because I don't think it will easily marry up to the 6 speed gearbox? I also assume it therefore only has single coilpack? Might be in the too hard bracket for me then
Can anyone correct my assumptions?

Karl all the 20v engines 7A, RR, 3B, ABY, AAN and ADU have the same bell-housing bolt pattern there is no issues with bolting them up to 5 or 6 speed boxes, you can also use single mass, dual mass or custom flywheel with no real issues.

The 7A has a larger bore than all the other 20v engines so will be 2309cc

Also all the 20v heads have the hole to use a distributor, the engines that run on coil packs just have a blanking plug in the hole.

The coil packs can be run on the 7A engine by using an ABY engine loom and ECU
