    Fibreglass front end for beetle

    Hi guys

I know it's the wrong kinda car for here but just wondering if anyone wants or knows of anyone after an all in 1 ( wings, bonnet, front apron and a? Pillars) section of front end for an early pre 68 shaped vw beetle. V good nick and light so would be good for fast street bug or race car. No cracks or blemishes or delimitation. Needs paint £60ono?

    Change of plans with car!

    Thanks

                      Hi

                      No worries mate.

He would need to chop the front of the beetle about a bit I think. I was going to have a friend do mine for me. We were going to chopr the frame head off and space frame it and use either bonnet pins or hinges at the front where the existing drill holes are. You could always leave the front of and chop thin sections from the top of the edge of the bonnet and use bonnet pins to hold it on or even hinge off remaing sections of front apron or something?

I think its a suck it and see kind of approach that may need modifyeing as you get into it. I guess there are a fe different ways it could be done but I was going for as light as possible so would have cut it all away, space framed it and put in a small racing cell fuel tank so it was v light and would have lifted the front on launches.

                      each to their own though.

                      Thanks
                      Chris
