  • Billet crankshaft for the AAN, looking for a few good men or girls...

    Hey Guys

As the title says, we're having several of the short, 92.8 mm, stroker crankshafts machined up ala billay. If you bore the cylinders to 83mm you'll end up with a 2.5 liter stroker. The stock crank weighs out at 53 lbs or so. This beauty should reduce the rotational mass of the motor a good 20 lbs or so. Dave Jones says he's gonna put a window in the side of the block so we can all see the billet goodness. Get in contact with me at captmagu@gmail.com for pricing and more info.

So what pistons would you use with that assuming you stay with the 144mm scat rods

Maybe is it better to do it on the 95.5crankshafts?
More torque, more displacement, more power ,more fun

What you describe can be thought of as too much of a good thing. The issue with the 95.5 crank is excessive piston/ring speed and excessive rod angle. Most folks limit themselves to around 7000 rpm. I have an 8000 rpm redline with my current 92.8 crank.

Tiz sum sorta Pidgin English, Bruh.

He's Hap Maguire, and in this case he has the kind info, but I'm not sure if the info is not from Everboost, or if he himself is not from Everboost, whatever/whoever/wherever Everboost is.

                Ya get me?

No dry sump. Just a billet crankey.

Hap Maguire has Hawaiian connections. "dakine" = Hawaiian Pidgin word "da kine" (derived from "the kind" or "the best"), so "dakine info" = the best info.

Hap used to live in Evergreen Colorado (about 35 minutes west of Denver Colorado), at an elevation of 7,200 feet. At that elevation, boost is a big help with power, hence "Evahboost". But he moved closer to Denver (still high at about 5500 ft) so he is "not from Evahboost" (any more).

Hap's Green Monstah, 674 whp 93 UrS4 is a legend in North America amongst the UrS-car crowd. His car has been written up in European Car magazine:
