7A flywheels converted to 3B spec

7A flywheels converted to 3B spec

Basically the extra weight has been removed from the back and also the clutch face has been skimmed so they are like new.

They don't have the clutch location pins in at the moment as they are removed before the clutch face is skimmed , this the proper way to do it, some people just skim the face inside the pins but this reduces the clamping force of the pressure plate.
The clutch location pins will be put back in for the sale, the 2 spark angle pins are also removed before the face is skimmed but I don't normally bother putting these in as everyone who has ever bought these from me has been using these on for an ABY/AAN/ADU and thus don't need them.
I have sold 11 of these so far and everyone has been happy with them, they are getting hard to find now and it is not worth while getting 1 or 2 machined at a time due to the cost, I have these 3 left
and I don't think I will be doing any more.
You will see in the photos some tiny marks on the face, these are only tiny surface rust marks were they got wet in my garage in the last few weeks as my roof decided to start leaking, the marks are only cosmetic and will disappear when the clutch is first let out.

£85 plus postage £9 to most of the uk.

Please PM me if you would like one.

Is this flywheel thinner than the original rs2s flywheel? Because im trying to fit rs2 transmission with 3b engine. The original flywheel of rs2 does not competible ( much thicker) with 3b engine. İf i buy this flywheel, may i overcome the this problem and do the sensors that read the data from flywheel fit the flywheel you sell

Thats because your missing the spacer that is used in the ABY and RS2 between engine and gearbox

In answer to your question yes but you need a 3B clutch kit

Any idea on what shipping on one of these to the states would run? I'm in Oregon (west coast). Also would the "spark angle pins" which I'm assuming is a type of crank trigger be able to be put back on? I have a 7A in my quattro coupe I just bought a couple days ago and I think I'll be sticking with that motor for quite a while. Much appreciated.
