Power steering pump S2 ABY

Hi guys

I have a power steering pump for sale, taken from my S2 as i thought it was the culprit to my noisey steering but not the case, so in fully working order.

Both the seals under the crossed screw have been replaced since the pump was removed.

Litle bit of paint flaked off due to fluid dripping on case.

Collection from Northampton, or can post at cost (£8 approx)

Like a whining noise, It changes pitch with the speed of the engine, I have flushed the system and changed 2 pumps but it's still there, putting it down to a ruined rack now but haven't found the enthusiasm to replace it yet, big job I understand from the forum blogs

Are u experiencing the same noise then?

just a thought mate . it maybe the bottom pulley touching the intercooler worth a look anyway

its not rubbing on the pulley, and u can only really hear the noise when inside the car, not from the engine end.....

so im pretty sure the rack is making the noise?

ryster, are u having the same issue then?? pm replied btw

I have the same noise and i thought it was power steering pump too, but if it wasn't that then what was the culprit in the end for you? cheers
