Garrett GT3782 Journal bearing turbo.

Bought from a scania truck shop, removed from an R&D engine used for emisions testing on a 8.8L DC901 diesel engine. Covered approx. 5000miles of use.

Good condition, minimal shaft play, not contact in either housings.

Compressor is 58/82mm wheel (50 trim) .58 housing

hotside, ill measure wheels tomorrow, but it has a .84 divided housing with internal wastegate, unknown flange but its pretty big. 4" outlet. I was going to swap this for something more suitable as its heavier than the turbo itself.


Bought it for my V8 coupe project, but its not big enough.

Compressor should flow approx 55lbs.


Looking for £225 with turbine housing, will split if wanted.

I dont think it was ever fitted to a road vehicle, think it was on a test bed / dyno for emissions testing.

To be honest I dont know what Ill use next, I bought this as I thought it would flow enough to be ok on low boost on my 4.2, bits waaay off to the right on the compressor map.

Ah sorry yes I re read it ! A mate of mine works for them and I can't get over the mileage they do ! oooh and some of the failures...ouch

Not after another turbo unfortunately but do have almost new (used less than 10k miles) master and slave cylinders off an AAN with receipt to prove. PM me if you're interested.
