Thermal Velocity Reflective Heat Shield sleeves are a composite construction made from aerospace grade E glass fabric heat laminated to a highly reflective high micron aluminium foil. It provides protection from radiant heat for hoses and wires.
It is an ultra lightweight construction which provides more insulation than traditional silicone coated fibreglass. The aluminized sleeve reflects more than 90% of radiant heat and is fireproof and oil resistant.
