Genuine S2 dial faces.

Bought these a long time ago in case I ever had the dial peel problem (which I never did)
Just come across them while sorting some parts out I'll have for sale over the next few weeks.
No good to me now the S2 has gone to pastures new.

They are in excellent condition with NO peeling anywhere.

S2 160mph dial face,
S2 tachometer dial face,
S2 water temperature dial face,
S2 fuel dial face.

Probably stating the obvious, but these are the dial faces ONLY.... No gauges included.

I'll send them well wrapped in a card backed and padded envelope.

£65 including recorded postage.

As stated in my sale post, the ones I'm offering are genuine faces removed from a genuine main instrument binnacle.
Some people (like myself) sometimes prefer originals when they come up.

ABY ones doesnt have nay holes for screws. Also the transparent covering is all in one piece where 3B has all gauges seperate. As an example, author of this topic sells ABY faces. These wont fit 3B I believe.

@ Max_S2 - You are discussing the AUX guages (volt, oil pressure, oil temp). UK model S2's were different and had seperate aux gauges in 3B and ABY.

To dispel any confusion, I am selling genuine instrument binnacle dial faces, NOT aux gauges.

For sale here are;

Speedo dial face,
Tacho dial face,
Fuel dial face,
Water temperature dial face.

They fit both 3B and ABY.

Maybe my english is not as good as I would like it to be, but I just wanted to say that IMHO Rustys gauge faces wont fit on mine ABY gauges as I DONT have any holes for screws in my gauges. You can see it clearly in my above posted picture and also in your pictures - no holes. Rusty sells gauge faces for 3B as I see. And I'm talking about AUX gauges only.

Just to clear this up. There are at least 2 versions of main and aux gauges!

The genuine main dials that Jas has for sale here are for VDO gauges (as I sell) and will not fit on some 4 cylinder cars (as bikerjim!). Not sure on 6 cylinder cars but I've not seen a 5 cylinder (yet) that doens't have VDOs. The simple test is to look in the centre by the warning lights and see if it's got 'VDO' written on it!

Most aux. gauges are the separate VDO type that we're all familiar with but there is also an all-in-one set that are completely different to the 52mm diameter dials You can thank Audi for the variation The changes are not specific to any car but do seem to be later on in the manufacture dates and TBH most set seem to be the VDO kit with the all-in-one sets (as above) not being that common.

This makes my life a little more complicated...

A check on KATE will also show this.

Don't you just love for sale threads on S2forum. Sell something nice and easy and it's turned into rocket science.
I offered S2 main instrument dial faces with the use of massive pictures, no mention of any other cars other than S2's and no mention of aux gauges.

But, it's all moot, they are now SOLD.
