Oops - Just been thinking actually - Deffo moved the steering pump over to the other side IIRC where the aircon pump would go on a fangled bracket. It was cut and repositioned by a company called bluprint in hinckley, he has since moved to Earl Shilton (4/5 yrs ago) and he also did the brackets and my 3" exhaust. Manifold was tested off the car hence the first fit as per the pictures above, but the car would spike for some reason unknown, seeing +2bar of pressure for 1/2 a sec. Remember going for a spirited drive down the lanes near hinckley and pop boost loss. Would hold up to 1 bar but any more and got the pull back from the car, did a boost test and noticed a crack running across the top weld. Manifold off - tested to 3bar and could see the ally plate bowing slightly under the pressure, hence the bracing to prevent that from happeneing, never had a problem after that and testing to IIRC 4.5bar
. Had pipes made up to do the run under the engine to the bomb and just bent intake pipe a touch to the pump (IIRC that fitted without modding just bending v.carefully so it ran under the ex manifold (wrapped in heat stuff to protect the fluid)) then the large pipe to the bomb under the engine (made up) and extended the from reservoir across the front to pump intake. Also had other mods which made this easyer. Moved oil cooler, full metal intake pipework other than joiners to turbo and coolers, Was a big build in my infant S2 forum days
