Are nice skylines more wedge then £14k?? Was thinking either Escort Cossy as I've always fancied one (although i've looked at a few know and they all appear to wrecked), or poss an S3, but not sure if they might be a bit dull at around 7 seconds to 60?

I have owned both big and small turbo escort cossies. The big turbo is the only one to go for, plenty lag but loads of tuning potential. it is hard to find a good one. I still think they look awesome even at 10 yrs old
Get a merc S600 for 8k (7 year old car, only lost £92k value in that time) and spend the rest of the money putting fuel in it for a couple of months (before it runs out) Spec list reads better than most peoples' houses.... One of those delimited should do what.. 180? More? In double glazed comfort ...
e.g. (slightly pricier than 8k, but well within budget - before you consider insurance that is...)

This used to belong to my brother, nice car, glad to see it's still going strong. I think it was about 2years ago when he sold it , for not much more than 3k if I remember right. It's a good car and an utter bargain at 3k, can't beleive it's not sold already.
Shame I didn't notice this before as he might have bought it back!!
Good luck with the sale.
Andy
P.S. Don't suppose you want to sell the wheels separatley, he wants them back!!

Does your brother live in Scarborough, cos thats where I bought it from?(Bought it 2 years ago for £5000, don't like to think whats been spent since...)
Sorry, wheels go with car, otherwise I'd have to sell it on bricks .
No, that was the guy my brother sold it to. He only had it for about 8 weeks and then I saw it for sale again in CCC magazine so he obviousley didn't get on with it. Either that or the insurance was killing him, I seem to remember he was only 18!!
Still can't believe you havn't sold it at 3K!, what are you buying next?
