I cant even f****** believe it. Some lady in a pug 406 rammed into the back of my S2 .
I was slowing down after I saw traffic ahead on the M4, I came to a hault and a few seconds later a 406 smashes into me lady driver. I am totally screwed . There is damage to the lights, bumper, both rear quarters got a ding, the tailgate doesnt shut.

totally gutted for you, saw your car couple of days ago at a specialist near me. i hope this didn't happen on the way home from there. i'ts a pretty awesome looking car in the flesh. why does this always seem to happen to the good ones??

the rear is bent badly, the boot's floor pan is bent. I will post some pics later.

Bet your gutted mate Hope it all works out for you and the insurance don't write it off!! Did you have a agreed value on the car??

Both my crashes were due to women not paying attention and in the past i've had to pay a higher premium

looking at the pics its repairable,the boot floor will straighten out ok if its jigged up,as long as there is no further damage ie.subframe etc..pushed forward,make sure you get lots of quotes, estimates for repair as they will vary so much...

Absolutely and totally agree - mate of mine had a ur with similar damage and the old girl was repaired - it was a concours winning example, and after rebuild still is - and all the work was agreed through the insurance - so just keep faith - what man build, man buildth again.

Very Sorry Habib.

Look at the good points, as you have a side exhaust, the exhaust was not broken or pushed foward and you have avoided a very possible Turbo and EM damage.

I will be talking the car over to a local body shop to get an estimate on monday. I am going to have a look properly underneath the car near the rear subframe diff etc. to see if everything there is ok. Its a bit dark now, maybe tommorow.

I do hear a strange sound from the back when im in the car without the ignition switched on, it seems to sound like the fuel pump is on while the ignition is off, disconnected the battery anyway.

Wow, REALLY sorry to hear your news Habib. I only saw your car once...beasting it up the runway at a Vdub show near Ipswich a few months back, but I remember it was tasty - although down on headlights

I have to say....'What the hell is going on?'

I have been away on business a lot recently and every time I log on to the forum, somw twonk has run into the back of an S2 (usually in a ****** Pug). Are we driving around with "PLEASE RAM ME....THIS CAR ISN'T RARE ENOUGH YET" on the back of our cars!

I have not been counting but that must be 4 or 5 rear enders in the last month or so. I am now driving the wifes car and the S2 is locked up in a secret underground neclear bunker until all offending Peugeots have been removed from our roads!
