Gauging interest really I have the number plate off the S2 I am breaking, L16 VAG

Did one of those instant quotes online and it came back £400,but not 100% sure how to go about removing it and transfering etc had also toyed about putting onto my avant but that is a K plate(i heard somewhere that I cant transfer if the plate is newer than the car?).

Nope, you can not do it. As this would make the car newer than it is according to DVLA..

You can physically put the plate on a car no problem


you just can't drive it on the road, have it parked on the road or take it for a mot with the L reg plate on unfortunately.
