Since I mounted my 044 pump it has cold start problems since the OEM RS2 pump had that valve built inside, and not bolted on top, so every coldstart I have to keep cranking untill the fuel gets to the engine again lol.

Hi Steve,

Here's a photo of the check valve. It's the genuine Bosch part for your 044 pump.

There were two minor installation errors with my pump which meant that fuel was slowly leaking back into the tank. Once identified & fixed, I didn't need this part as the car now starts as is should from cold.

You can blow air/fuel through this end. You cannot via the other end (with no insert).

Is this the part you wan't to remove if you like to rise the power level from 700 to 800hp with a single pump?

I guess so as it's probably the smallest choke point/ID on the fuel line
