anyone bought one? I know these are truck scrapper sourced turbo's usually so maybe this is actually expensive by comparison. Still seems flippin cheap if it's a 600hp capable turbo.

These are Chinese rip-offs!! Beware! Only buy from genuine Holset dealers/resellers cause these puppies will not last!
Clear giveaways:
- name tag is fake, Holset uses dot matrix printed blue logo with CNC centerpointed data, this is done by a 5 year old child with punch letters.
- compressor cover parting line of cast is far to big, no tower bridge shaped "h" on it.
- machining of anti surge inlet is way off, inner diameter is not machined on genuine part
- text on turbine housing is embossed & sharply embossed, far more radiused on genuine part
- plastic protection covers are of wrong material & colour, oil inlet cover does not even match the flange nor holes!
- compressor wheel nut is from different material by the looks of it.
- i bet that when you open it up you'll meet some pieces of copper tubing for radial bearings... some phonies even use genuine bearings to make them last a bit longer, until it makes some proper boost...
