    WTD-Aux rad

    Hi all.

I'm after a mint or brand new aux rad, anyone got one?

    Cheers

There was a recon one for sale recently. Just ditch it, as it's not necessary.

I have one that will do the job for you. I'd have to grab it out of the garage if you want to have a look at it?

I've run mine with (a) no aux rad fitted and (b) with a brand new aux rad fitted and haven't seen any real difference in engine temperature.

I guess it's up to you but not sure it does that much as far as I can see. Perhaps botting it round the NBR might have an impact?

I think it may be to retain the original look??

I could do with one of these too, there is a reconditioning company on ebay, perhaps a group buy would be a good idea?

Some cars are happy without the aux rad, mine is happy without in winter but in summer it really needs it.

Maybe your main rad is a bit blocked up?

Recon you aux rad, cost me £70 when I had mine done a long time ago by a company called readyrads. since then I have ditched it and sold it onto a lucky punter who got a near enough new aux rad

I'm just being a tart and want the oem look in the engine bay. I've got a spare I can get re-cored, just need to find a decent place to get it done.
