3" Down Pipe from the Group Buy - Last Year

Hi Ken,

I may be interested.....why are you selling after it took a long time to get and it is some time since the group buy. A few questions that may help the sale to me or someone else:-

• Has it been used?
  Did it fit correctly?
  How many bungs does it have?
  Will it allow the use of the heat shield?
  Why are you selling?

  Did it fit correctly? Don't know as said not used - ask one of the other guys on the GB - I Think Terry fitted his...
  How many bungs does it have? Bungs??

Fair enough....i understand the no-fitment issue!

There should be 2 bung holes, one for Lambda and the other for Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) although someone did ask for 3 bung holes from the GB thread. Can you confirm 2 or 3 holes in yours?

Last question....does yours have any flange to the bottom end. I think it should be a straight pipe end.

I think if you read through all the GB they all came with 2 Lambda holes - despite some wanting 3....

Again as far as I know they all came with a straight pipe too...

Yeah, looks like Lloyd had to add some more metal on to get it round the heat shield.

I'll add some more metal and a v-band - anyway it's a good basis for a full 3" system so I will take it.

My one of these fits great and is really nicely made! I did remove the cv heat shield though. I vaguely remember that a VW t25 heat shield is slimmer and may fit??

Thanks for the advice and all the comments seem to say the DPs are well made.

I'm looking to get a 200cpi cat and 3" custom system made by Pipewerx - I think Jamo got his made there. I've visited twice and been impressed with the project work they had there.
