    Breaking 20v Coupe Quattro

I'm breaking the 20v CQ I have just bought, a more expensive project is taking preference and I've just discovered this coupe has a shady past, I'd sooner not sell it as a whole car.

However mechanically it is spot on, very solid and one of the sweetest 7a Engines I've ever driven, gearbox, clutch, diff etc. all bang on.

Obviously the only valuable bits are the engine which I'll split down for the S2 lads to cherry pick cams, cam cover, flywheel and head from and the diff/suspension and brakes.

Brakes are the 276MM G60s, rear calipers are in good working order and lock up the back wheels and release again! (novelty)

The suspension is boggo basic, not even forged wishbones.

Nice set of 10 spoke speedlines on the car.

    Lights all in good condition.

I also have a very nice set of all red coupe/s2 rear lights, these are the ones with the red striped indicators AND reversing lights. Rarer than a rare thing. And a set of heated locks.

Just let me know what you want off the car and I'll pull it off. Car is complete at the moment.

Hi folks a few replies needed!

Right the rear lights first off.

Audi made 3 types of rear lights for these cars they are all the same lamp units nothing special about them not like the difference in headlights between projectors etc.
              1) the original all yellow type indicator white reversing lamp type.
              2) the middle model was as above with a white reversing lamp but now the yellow indicator had red stripes across to "red out" the lamp.
              3) the run out model had the red stripes above and the reversing lamp was red striped too, these are as close as you can get to all red rear lamps without either looking to America or resorting to dodgy film or spray, they look great especially on white or dark coloured cars.

Car is steel grey (dark silver).

              It has white indicators.

It has both fogs intact although they aren't brand new and are a little faded as is normal for these, if you split the lens off the body and spray the reflector with silver paint (boggo steel wheels stuff, the factory finish isn't mirrored it is infact just matt silver as you will get from steel wheels, it just flakes off over time leaving the yellowy cream coloured plastic visible which is why old lamps look a bit yellow) they will come up like new. Because these fogs look awful if you get a new one/old one mixed on the same car I want to sell both together.

I'll photo the car this weekend.

Aux rad doesn't leak but it's grotty. £10 takes it away.

Hi Chris it is the same, let me check to see if it's wavy as they normally are.

                      Carpet/interior is grey (cloth).

Rear lights no damage, all studs intact too.

                      £40 the pair.

I was talking to Oliver about the rear lights and we established they are normal late spec rear lights not "all reds". HTH

No offence but I stated that with a very clear description of the different types above.

The true all red lights your after are not something that will normally come up for sale in this country, I object to the above post infering I am in some way attempting to mislead people.

Eh? I'm not trying to infer you are misleading anyone. I'm trying to help you to describe to people the parts you have for sale
