RS2 Gear Knob and Gaiter

Contacted my local Audi dealer in Malta, parts manager told me the part is still available to purchase new, however quoted me a price of €220. Round about £180 I believe.

Guessing there might not be too many of these left since price has become so high

Just confirmed the order from the local dealer who today quoted me €180-185

There aren't any S2s or RS2s in Malta so these parts are new for the dealer . Just one other silver S2 imported from Ireland here besides mine. Apparently a 1997 REG one too

That looks like an S2 not RS2

That's the rs2 knob. But seems different at the top.

Yes, Andy's has a stitch that starts horizontally and continues vertically and David's has the stitch all horizontally, while an S2 knob has 4 vertically stitches (never saw other models) like in the picture.

This is interesting, so the Rs2 knob cannot be taken down, it's the same part with the leather boot? Hmmmm.... quite tempted to order one... I thought 8A0711118A = only the knob , and the leather boot has a different part number + extra price...
