Wanted - RS2 Crossmember

You can buy a bracket from wagner that allows you to fit rs2 ic to s2 crossmember. That's what I did, works well.

Any custom metal plate will work easily.

If you know welding,is very easy.

Had s2 3b cross member with rs2 intercooler

as above I would modify your stock one, loads easier and cheaper than trying to find an RS2 one

I can't mod mine in any way as i'm keeping all the original parts of the car that are being 'temporarily' swapped for the RS2 conversion items. I've got another ABY CM from my previous car and can mod that but don't want to alter any of the original parts or the car in any way. This custom bracket, is it bolt on or are there mods required?

Mate....weld it and if you want to return back just cut the metal part and paint it a little in black,job done.

Get a spare S2 one and mod that one? May be cheaper and just as good.

Russ, the RS2 intercooler comes with the modified 3B crossmember. I don't think you will require anything else m8!

Ah, my bad then maybe.. Didn't realise a modded 3b cm would fit?

As far as I remember you have to drill two holes in the crossmember to fit the Wagner bracket.

Enough people have fitted ABY or RS2 items on a 3B so you'd have to hope that the reverse is going to be a direct fit too We'll get it all fitted soon enough mate Then it's exhaust o'clock.
