S2 front struts complete

I wouldn't say there is a difference. Unless the size of strut. But would all bolt up the same.

Yes the bolt holes for the hub carriers on an ABY are larger in diameter. M12 vs. M14 IIRC.

Are these necked down where the shock goes in to the strut? I think there are two different sizes of fitting nuts that hold the shock in to the strut; 50mm & 55mm. Interested if they are 55mm.

I have measured up the bolt holes tonight they are 14mm so ABY going off the above.

Actually Aaron, the fronts and the rears are the same on the ABY struts. Only the standard coupes had the choked down front struts.

Yep, What he said. So what size are they where the shock goes in to the strut? A picture of that area thru the spring air gap would help.
Also interested in a pair of rear ABY Coupe hub carriers too.

If they have M14 bolts then they'll be 55mm shocks.

The M12 bolts and 50mm front shocks went hand in hand, I'm quite sure.

Size of the strut had nothing to do with B3 or B4 (M12 vs M14), it was a power rating... anything above 100kw had 55mm tube and all cars below 100kw would have the 50mm tube except in North America where all B3/B4 cars had the 50mm tubes.

All S2 had the 55mm struts.
