DSY gearbox (with oil cooling)

DSY gearbox here, now surplus to requirements as I have new plans.
It's tough to get 1st to 2nd - the syncro needs replacing, I don't have the time to open it up, hence price. Clean box, no leaks.
A quick fix and someone will have a cheap top of the line 01E gearbox.

£150 collection only due to weight (can't find a courier to take it).

What's the braided line? Is that where the OE cooler goes?

Yeah, its basically just closed the cooling circuit.
Normally there would be hardlines attached there that run up to the front of the car on the S4.

Alex, that´s only wide first gear and not flexible shaft ,so not on the top of the 01E´s


very good thing is the oil cooling system... for a race/track car very very good,for a street car almost the same if you only do some sporadic WOT in short periods of time

CRB´s from RS2,lates CGR´s and the the diesel ones are stronger but without oil cooling

Yup I recognise that box as well.

Alex, is that a late cgr with wide 1st? Might be worth adding to the project for a rebuild.
