    Wanted - S2 Master Cylinder

    Hi,

I'm looking to do an S2 brake conversion on my Trackday Mk2 golf, but need to locate a 25.4mm master cylinder to replace the 22mm one on the golf.

Has anyone done a big brake conversion on their S2 and been left with one lying about that they want to sell?

    Part no is VW# 441 611 021

    Cheers,

    Alex

Would S2 brakes be much of an upgrade? They're pretty pathetic...

        ...on a 900kg GOlf GTi they're a big improvement to the single pot 256mm set-up I have!

Sorry to but in, but surely you would need a Smaller diameter Master Cyl to upgrade? For a given Pedal pressure, with a smaller Cyl Diameter you would read a higher system pressure, even tho with lower volume.

Thanks Tony - but it's about the volume of fluid the M/C can shift, not the pressure (hence the need for the bigger one - small M/C results in long pedal travel)...
