Well, you are not wrong in the fact that it isn't a plug & play replacement for the 3 dials, but if you are set up for climate already, it will do everything except the recirc flap

Just to get this right,apart from recirc flap which wont work,but I never used mine anyway,is it an easy fit or needs a specialist cause if I can fit it myself I will have it.

It is a s2 avant '93 with manual a/c

In that case no it is a big job to change to digital climate, but has been done a few times in RHD. There is an excellent guide on the forum by Johne. But this headunit would be part of what you needed to do the conversion
