Low Pressure Switch for Air Con

    Hi

I have a low pressure switch for sale that I bought on FleaBay on the basis that the seller said it would fit the RS2....it doesn't! I bought it a while back so too late for a refund. The part is new and unused.

The part number is (OEM part):

    8A0 959 483 AA
    8A0959483AA

It also has the digits 0441 etched on the item.

I paid £25+ P&P for it which was cheap compared to Audi's price so looking for my money back if someone is interested.

    Cheers
    Tom

That should be the right one for a RHD RS2 with manual AC

I think you're right but this is the part that is fitted behind the dash so this is the next stage on from the part I wanted to try and replace next....which has a '2' at the end of the part number instead of the '3' (hope that makes sense)

I want to exhaust all options before having to pull the dash out (for obvious reasons)

            Cheers for the info

You shouldn't need to take the dash out to test the switch, test it for continuity elsewhere in the circuit
But remember you need the system properly charged to do that

You don't need to pull the dashboard out to change the low pressure switch. It isn't easy and you need to drop the ECU but that's all and it can be done - btdt
