Tom, the price is right m8, even if you have got dyslexic fingers!
S2driveruk is right, horsepower speaks for itself.

Consider your "claipers" sold. PM me with full name and address, you should have the cheque on Monday (or other payment method that you would prefer).

    Cheers,

    Graeme.

Nah, power is nothing without control and Tom still uses 205 rubber.

205's not bad if we're talking Durex here. :mischeif:

Lee, have you ever made caliper brackets for UFO to Hispec? Or can you get engineering drawings with the dimensions of the hub bracket spacings, etc?
Also, what material should I be making these from? You're advice would be much appreciated.

        Graeme.

6082-T6 ally or a nice steel. Custom brackets not an issue but would need to take my own measurements of the hub first. I don't mess about with spacers and shims to get it to fit but instead prefer to get is spot-on first time around. You need to base it on a disk first though. Either adapt it to a stock disk or design some bells too. What size were your rims again Graeme?

Sorry, forgot to add, I will not release drawings of these parts to anyone, especially the newer brackets that reinforce the upright at the same time. I know many try to get these brackets right and don't so I would keep the propietary info to myself. Its not rocket science just protecting my interests.

Lee, I'm looking at using Audi 314x30 vented disks under the standard 16" Avus rims at the moment, will be going to 18x8's when I've got the spare cash. I'm not sure what offset this disk has, 35mm rings a bell but don't quote me.
You're right to protect your info, I don't have a problem with that at all.

Do you have access to another car with UFO's on it or would you need to see mine?

Graeme, if you want a great disc, get a mercedes S500 320x30 disc. it's directionally vented and the braking performance is awesome in comparison with any other disc (Lee's excepted though). They will fit on UFO wheel hubs too, which the Audi 314x30 won't, experience talking here. Not many discs out there that will fit on an UFO wheel hub.

                Cheers,

Tom, cheque's in the post m8, honest. :mischeif:

Lee, change that disk to the Merc 320x30 one as per Mihnea. Not sure if it'll go under my standard 16's though?

                    Cheers,

                    Graeme.

Mihnea, do you know anyone that has done this conversion that would be willing to share details of caliper brackets, offsets, etc?

                      Cheers,

                      Graeme.
