As per title. £350
ECU homefry by Paul N. (s2central)
Switchable between -
1. N-stream - normal home fry
2. V-stream - more aggressive map
3. Valet mode
Here's some info from Paul when he did the home fry.
V-Stream will get best from your big intercooler as well - the factory chips and N-Stream don't keep boost level consistent across the temperature range - consequently its hard to see gains with a bigger intercooler unless you have V-Stream. This is cos I learnt a trick from the RS2 which works in the way of colder air = more power !
Multimode with N-Stream plus V-Stream plus valet mode is £450
Reason for having N & V together is the Bets testers have reported that N-Stream is smoother and nicer to drive when just taking it easy... But for those 'press on' moments the V-Stream is much better - the actual boost levels are almost identical at WOT but V builds it faster from low-mid range and holds onto slightly higher boost for about 500-1000rpm more.
As you can see I paid £450 for the homefry. Up for sale at £350. As a stock ECU seem to seems to cost about £200 when they come up for sale I think this is a fair price.
Plus postage.
Regards,
Grant
