Trip Computer Upgrade

I have a trip computer with loom and stalk for sale. This is a minicheck unit not an autocheck unit. The screen has not bled. This is a very easy upgrade as it only requires one wire to be connected to the car, the rest of the loom is for the stalk switches and is plug and play.£100 delivered.

What was the donor car?

Will it work with LHD?

Hi, I don't see why it wouldn't work on a LHD. The stalk is off a coupe so it has a rear wipe function too so will work on both a coupe or a saloon. It will work with any 80/coupe that has an output from the ECU to connect to it. There is a guide on the net about fitting and connecting to an ecu, there is normally a yellow wire to connect into under the dash.

Obviously postage would be a bit more to ship to the US but I'm happy to get you a quote.

Same as fitted to an S2 but an upgrade for a car that doesn't have one

This is sold, sorry. Mini check just has 4 warning lights where as autocheck has a display for all sorts of things.

So yours would have physically fitted my dash but wouldn't be plug and play and some wire splicing would need to be done.

I'm not 100 % sure about going from auto to mini but wires defo need adding to go from mini to auto!

you don't have to go from autocheck to minicheck. i'm pretty sure you can combine your old autocheck with the new "bordcomputer".
