            ?

i had several offers on the forum ,no money was taken and i sold the manifold to another forum member that wanted several items all togather. i contacted this person and told him it had beed sold , then went onto the forsale parts and spotted another aby inlet manifold for sale and sent that forum member a pm for him to contact the person looking for manifold , i assumed it all worked out fine

              In my opinion and experience:-

It's up to the seller if they make a list of people interested and wait for each in turn to decide if they're purchasing the item or just sell it to the first person to pay in full. That's not uncommon over here, so perhaps a slight culture clash thing going on here...?

Also, if no money was taken, then the seller can decide to remove the item from sale and inform the purchaser(s) with no reason being given. Even if money passes hands, then as long as there is a full refund immediately and the seller has not mislead the buyer, I don't see that there's an issue there either really; it's just one of those annoying things.

Where money is taken and held under false pretenses or taken fraudulently, there is something for the seller to answer to.
