01E 6 speed CBL Gearbox

Is this compatible with an S2? I know they both use the '01E' box but are the mounting points etc too dissimilar between the B4 and C4 type cars?

Mounting provisions bolt into same place yes, and the shift linkage bolts on too, just have to remove one pivot/pin from the c4 linkage to fit, but its just a bolt to remove. I had mine working in my B3 coupe quattro.

This box is provisionally sold pending collection.
