Probably absolutely no good to you lot but here goes
2.8 AAH V6
Despite what they say this one doesn't drink oil !
Does not smoke at start up, tickover or WOT
Magnecor Competition 8.5 leads, recon alternator
Very recent Gates Cambelt. New water pump, tensioner blah, blah ! (all with receipts)
A bit tappety on start up but ain't they all When she gets up to temp its typicaly smooth V6 all the way

Running gear

Hi,
Looking to upgrade my typ85 B2 running gear to S2 spec as this offers more options for suspension and is beefier.
Is all the running gear still available?
Apart from being 4 stud, how else does the coupe stuff differ from the S2

I thought the V6 stuff was almost identical to a S2 (hubs aside) with just a change in strut diameter and/or strut bolts ?
I'm sure someone comented recently the front subframe is similar to a ABY one ?
Someone more knowledgable will tell you no-doubt but I would say its close if not identical in some aspects.

Im still after a side trim, i know you said your spare was a little crusty, but are the ones on the coupe any better?

I knew someone asked me about them but could not remember who.
Kit ended up snapping up the ones off the coupe.

Drivers side NEW headlamp lens has been sold (I think)

Removed the Ellipsoids today and they are NOT in the condition I first described

Apologies about that to all people that have inquired

Driver's side has a semi-circular crack underneath where it meets the body of the headlight. This was repaired by me with some strong glass glue and silicone.
It does NOT fog up,steam up and I have had no moisture problems.
It is completely invisible when fitted to the car.

Passenger side has 1 top clip broken
I have the piece and its a clean break so I can repair this with Araldite or something similar

Based on these I am slashing the price to £180 the pair which I think is a bargain as the repairs will not be visible when these are fitted.
ATM I do not want to split them, thanks.
