Those avants all sound tasty, espesh the Nothelle... now trying to justify to the girlfriend why I should replace my 2.0E avant with something that (to her) looks identical, is older, yet costs 6 grand more...

you knoiw it makes sense, although i had an easier job convincing my wife we needed one because we had a puma before this car and an impending baby on the way. sorted.

i was under the impression the nothelle conversion was a 302bhp one, not 320, or maybe im just being ****.

Volkswagen Audi Car Magazine quoted the N300 conversion as 306bhp in 1994 (http://www.s2-audi.co.uk/articles_94_95.htm) - but what's another 4 gallopers between friends!!

Could have had a few other tweeks since, or been on a generous rolling road but whatever - it's better than my current 80's 90bhp and makes my Passat VR6's 174bhp look pretty pathetic too.

I know that Nothelle I think: same spec anyway. Sold by someone I know down the road last year to Dean's (Jubjub's) brother. But I thought it changed hands again after that. If it is the same one it was dynoed at 322 IIRC.

Looked tidy enough when I saw it. I was heavily into changing my konis so I didn't pay it much attention when the chap brought it around to my gaff. Silver, Cups, Nothelle, cloth, avant...got to be the one as I doubt there are 2 like that. Dyno figures were from a long time ago.

It's fully loaded with RS2 bits and big front brake conversion. Just not something you'd want to be pulled over in.

I've driven this car and I reckon its only got around 300.
Its still got the original injectors.

I keep getting offered it for five grand as ideal track car, even though the front suspension is knocking it's **** off. I've offered him two grand to break it for spares. (talking of that I need to have a chat with you - I've got something you might be interested in)

Lol, I test drove it the other day for someone who was interested in it but wouldnt believe me.
Shocks have been changed but the diff or diff mounts are fooked. Brake pads are worn, leccy windows dont work, tracking/camber miles out..........
