Does the stock gas strut work on the hood or will it deform over time?

Does the stock hood latch work or are pins required?

Hood is 100% copy from original.
Gas strut works, these is place to install it.
About deforming: difficult to respond. Have to follow always to close and open hood with care.
No pins required.

Guys I'm in the Pacific Northwest. Later part of the year I'm going to be in UK and DE. I'll be organizing a 20ft container for myself. Maybe this could be an option. Containers need to be dropped off or unloaded at a business location. Other than that I'd be willing to share space. I prefer to not have to organize shipping individual products so if someone in this area can take the lead on that part of things we can sort out something here.

btw: is it difficult to paint these?

As mentioned. S2 carbon doors are copy, window mechanism can be installed. Interior trim as well. Dont think there are problems to paint.

Hood with sq vents will be made for me. Not ready yet. Acoordingly no pictures. There is not made sample of simple hood. No differense with other seen in forum, just this is with all fittings

It would be nice to see the vented hood, any idea how long until pics are possible?

There are some hoods coming to the US so it would be nice to make a comparison before purchasing one or the other.
