Swap: My 16" Avus for 17" Avus II

I've decided that instead of having two sets of 16" Avus alloys, one for winter and one for summer, I'd like to go back to 17" Avus II for the summer. Preferably with good tread on good brand of tyres - Dunlop, Michelin, Pirelli, Goodyear and the like.

Just over a year ago when I bought the car it had 17" Avus IIs and I've been through three sets of wheels so far

If anyone wants to swap mine below for their 17" Avus I would be interested.

Two with Uniroyal Rainsport 2 and two with Michelin Primacy HP. Plenty of tread and in the last few weeks I've been able to deduce that they have plenty of grip in the wet and the dry!

These were my old wheels and they are all straight, with the front faces benefiting from a respray a couple of years ago.

I've been looking for a set if 16", if you don't have any joy with swapping.

I'll keep that in mind as I've also asked about a set

Got the stud conversion sorted and the correct metal spigots, so they're all good thanks. Need to get the tracking and springs sorted before testing the tyres and I think one was indeed missing a weight, as it's got a small wobble at 70 but they look good, so that's just fine for now

That explains the price not being about half the value of my entire car! Not really bothered that they aren't genuine BBS items though. Realllllllly tempted to go for these now

Joined AudiSRS.com to make inquiries about some 17" Avus IIs on there, any other Audi forums recommended?

Also since having a nap this aft I've woken up to the realisation that 1. I don't want to risk 18" wheels when I know from experience the difference in ride comfort between 16" and 17" is barely noticeable and 2. I would need another £380ish for new tyres for those BBS replicas. Silly Jack....
