Hi Mike, have you tried one of these? What happens to Autocheck?

I bought it a few years ago from German Auto Spares
1 x HEADLAMP WASHER PUMP 3B7955681

It's the right size and shape although I never used it.

Yes, I missed out the headlight part on the OP.

Would you please make clear what you mean by "that changes things"

Is this a good, correct part or not in your experience. If it's not I'll try and send it back to German Auto Spares who sold it to me.
