This will be the part that you need.



The part number: 022103601K is a Phaeton only part so you can't get it from another vehicle second hand unfortunately.

There aren't any photos on the net easily available so I can't see if it's aluminium or not.

How bad is the damage?

At £291.07 plus vat, it's not cheap so you could probably have it repaired by a specialist welding company for half that.

thanks for the info, strangely vw quoted me £100 more than that. well, £380 IIRC,

i dont have a sump to repair, it is so i can fit the vr6 into the coupe quattro to clear the subframe.

they are alloy.
