V6 and aby s2 front subframes are the same

I've read on here that the V6 cabriolet subframe is different though due to reinforcements?

Having a look under mine ('98 2.8 V6 cabby), I think the subframe itself is the same, but there are two reinforcing plates that bolt on underneath the two rear mounting points. These plates get clamped to the subframe bush with the big subframe bolt, and two smaller bolts attach this plate to the chassis rail directly behind. Makes removing wishbone bolts that little bit more difficult...

EDIT - whoops, just realized this isn't a V6 cabby, so subframe won't help you - still, may be useful info for someone!

Maybe in a few weeks time.

Don't think it will have as it's a v6 cab.
