Hi. For sale is rs2 exhaust manifold... As you can see date of manifacture is 1991.. I dont know why its dont have genuine part number.. good condition 3 cracks you can see them on pictures
I have a quick question to the forum. I recently purchased an RS2 manifold similar to this one, with the same numbering on it.
L03 111 121 D5S
And what appears to be a manufacture date stamp of 1996. (the seller in this thread noted a different date).
I am curious - Is this a genuine RS2 manifold or is this a clone?
Did some of the RS2 manifolds come without any Audi markings or the 034 ... part numbering or the Audi rings? I.e. did the "installed at factory" manifolds have the same markings as "replacement" parts?
I am trying to validate whether the manifold I bought is genuine, as it looks a lot like this one.
Noo its Audi modification how I remember on Audi s4 2.2 AAN engine.. try google it and You will see different on intake manifold aswell from standart AAN engine. Thanks
Thanks - it was really cool to read up on the SMS / MTM enhanced S6's. From what I read, SMS did the upgrades at their own facility, and used their own intake and exhaust manifolds, turbo, ECU, etc to replicate a RS2 setup.
How certain are you about this manifold coming from an SMS 303 engine? I am thinking about reaching out to SMS to ask about what their manifolds should look like.
