It should work. But 1z/afn ecu wont work on an afn due to vnt. I run a chipped afn ecu in my ahu mk2 golf with no problems

There's two different ecu's for the 1Z, one is easily chipped the other isn't.

I'm not sure where they originally came from but I got it off a chek bloke on ebay I have used several times,excellent service every time
